RSS: Recognized as a non-profit, tax deductible organization

The Rotary Districts of Switzerland and Liechtenstein Foundation  ("RSS") enables us all to make contributions tax deductible: Donations become even more attractive:

•     RSS is an organization monitored and controlled by the Swiss Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations
•     The non-profit status and thus the tax deduction entitlement are recognised
•     The foundation boards work on a voluntary basis. 100% of donations go to international and national projects and programs of Rotary and the Rotary Foundation
•     Authorities, donors, and grantees can contact Rotarians from Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

The RSS supplements the charitable funds and foundations of the clubs in the Districts 1980 and 1990.

Purpose of the Rotary Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is to support recognized Rotary charitable activities and thereby contribute to international understanding, goodwill, and peace.

It provides financial support for

•     The various Rotary International Foundation funds and projects in the familiar seven areas of focus
•     Foundation nonprofit programs such as Polio-Plus, Peace Centers, etc.
•     Projects of Rotary Switzerland-Liechtenstein, Rotaract, Action Groups (e.g. RFPD) and other Rotary organizations.

Principles

The foundation observes the following principles:

•     Transparency and efficiency
•     Grant awards based on clear criteria, based on The Rotary Foundation's goals and sustainability requirements
•     Consideration of the will of the donors within the framework of the foundation's purpose.
